The On-Farm Network (OFN) is now working on establishing in-crop trials with foliar applied biostimulants, fertilizers and fungicides.
All biostimulant trials are now established either at seeding or with the first pass of herbicide. We are testing various popular biostimulant products like WAVE and HeadsUp.
All three-soybean foliar applied boron fertilizer trials are now established. Soybean foliar applied potassium fertilizer trials are currently being established with the second herbicide pass in a tank mix. These trials are targeting soils that
are low in potassium.
Soybean foliar fungicide trials are starting this week, and we have four lined up this year as the white mould pressure is high.We have started at two field pea sites with the first pass in two versus one application aerial foliar applied fungicide trials.
Dry bean fungicide trials (1 application vs none) are right around the corner. Generally, the soybeans are slow but now finally becoming green and developing more biomass and dry beans are coming along well. We have a couple nice
looking pea sites this year.
