The On-Farm Network (OFN) has established all but one seeding timed trials as of June 5, 2026.
The following seeding-timed trials have been established with many more in-crop trials (crop inputs) to come later in the season:
Soybean
- 11 starter phosphate fertilizer
- Eight seeding speeds
- Three seeding equipment
- Four seeding rates
- Three row spacings
- One nitrogen rates
- One double vs. single inoculant
- Three rolling timing
- One seed treatment
Dry bean
- Four seeding rates
- Two single inoculant vs. none
Field pea
- One seed treatment
Faba bean
- One seeding rates
Recently, like much of the province, farmers who are OFN participants have dealt with hail and windstorms that affected several trial sites. We helped the farmers scout and make re-seed decisions adding value while taking advantage of a service at no extra cost.
