Dicamba: Do it Early

Planning on spraying Xtendimax 2 (Dicamba) on your Round Up Ready 2 Xtend (dicamba and glyphosate tolerant) and Xtendiflex (dicamba, glyphosate, and glufosinate tolerant) soybeans, DO IT EARLY!

Spray early in the season and at the high rate when not a lot of sensitive crops are up yet. Getting weed control early helps to maintain yield potential.

If you spray Dicamba at pre or post crop emergence and then get some rain, you’ll get three to four weeks of residual control.

You should tank mix 500 ml/ac of Xtendimax 2 with glyphosate. Then apply it when weeds are just beginning to emerge. At this time it has been seen to help with early volunteer canola and waterhemp, although these weeds are not on label.
